Hookah 101 – Vol. 2: “How to Clean Your Hookah”
Hookah 101 – Vol.2: “How to Clean Your Hookah” is a 5 minute video showcasing the proper way to dismantle and then clean your hookah. We walk you through the right way to easily clean your hookah. With regular maintenance, scrubbing out your hookah should take less than 5 minutes from beginning to end. I recommend doing a little tidying every week to keep your hookah in the best condition that it can be, and to keep your shisha tasting FRESH- instead of last week’s Hookah Freak.
This blog breaks down the video into easy to read steps for you, so whether you prefer video or written word, you’re set! Some things you’ll need in order to get started are water, vinegar, a cloth or sponge and a stem cleaning brush (every Hookah you order from HookaH-HookaH comes with a brush in your carrying bag when in stock). I wouldn’t recommend using soap because it leaves a residue and you definitely don’t want suds while you’re smoking! And stay away from the dishwasher… your hookah will be just fine without it!
Ready to get started? Good. First get all of your materials together near a sink so you don’t make a mess! Take apart your hookah piece by piece. Remove the bowl, unscrew the adapter and take off the charcoal tray. Depending on how high you built your stem, you’re going to want to unscrew it piece by piece until the entire stem is dismantled. Submerge your bowl and adapters in the vinegar and let them sit for around 2 minutes. While this is sitting, take the pieces of your stem and run the vinegar through it (this is where the sink comes in handy). Flush the entire stem with vinegar, take your stem cleaning brush and push it through all of the holes. You also might want to twist it a few times to REALLY get all the particles off. Rinse the stem by pouring water through it – make sure you do this thoroughly. If you don’t get all of the vinegar out, your next smoking session could taste like pickles… and you don’t want that! After all of the vinegar is rinsed off, set the stem aside to dry. Remove your bowl and the adapters from the vinegar and rinse them with water. If you want to get your bowl extra clean, you can take a small pipe cleaner and run it through the holes. After you’re sure your bowl is clean, set it aside to dry. The charcoal tray just needs to be rinsed with water and wiped with the cloth. Now for the vase – pour vinegar into the vase and swish it around by picking up the vase and moving it in a circular motion. Take your stem cleaning brush again (see, these things are uber useful!) and bend it to get the tobacco ring off of the inside of your vase. Rinse that with water and set it aside to dry.

Interested in FREE Product? – Don’t worry, it’s on us.
You work hard for your money; we know that, because we do, too. We also know that you get to choose what you spend that money on, and we’re just ecstatic that you choose us! We’re always running Special Offers with the hopes that we can save you money, and I’m here today to tell you the steps to complete to redeem those special offers so that every penny saved goes right back into your pocket. There has been some confusion in the past as to how to actually qualify and then cash in on the awesome freebees, but fear no more! After this information session you should be all set and on your way to getting the free stuff that you deserve.
Let me preface this by saying that “Special Offers” and “Discounts” are two totally different things. If a discount is running, they are something that HookaH-HookaH.com does for everyone that purchases something on our site. For instance, some examples of discounts that we run quite often are “75% Off FedEx Home Delivery Shipping”, or “20% Off of all Black Label”. You might ask, “How do I get those AMAZING savings?” Well, the answer is simple…. They’re automatic. If you purchase Black Label, or another product that has a percentage discount added to it, once that particular product is added to your shopping cart, it automatically deducts that percentage from the original price! It’s like saving money with no effort, well, actually, that’s exactly what it’s like! Another example is if we’re running a “10% off of all GREEN hookahs and accessories” if you select a green hookah or accessory, and you add it to your shopping cart, 10% off is deducted from the original price. Truly effortless savings!
On the other hand, the “Special Offers” are another story. If we’re running a special offer, which might read something like, “Buy ONE get ONE free” or “With any purchase over $30 receive 3 50g of shisha FREE” there are a few extra steps that you must take in order for these special offers to take place. On our websites’ left hand navigation menu, there is a section called “PROMOTIONS AND SPECIALS”. If you click that section, you will see a list of all of the specials we’re running at that time. If you’re in doubt if you qualify for a special, there is a way to check. Once you’ve added something to your “Shopping Cart” before you go to “Check Out” there is a button directly to the left of it that says “Check for Special Offers”. Click that and it will take you to a separate page. If you are eligible for one of our specials, it will be listed there. All you have to do is click it to redeem your free stuff! Pretty easy, huh? Please note: sometimes we run more than one special at a time. After you select the first special and add it to your cart, the navigation will take you back to the “Check Out” page. Click the “Check for Special Offers” link again to make sure that you have redeemed all of the specials being offered to you! Oh, and just a side note… in the past we have had people write the specials they want in the Comments Box on the Check Out page. The problem with this is, sometimes the comments aren’t read, and your specials will be left out of your shipment. To ensure you get all your goodies, make sure the specials are listed in your shopping cart! We would just hate if you missed out on any of the savings!

The Impact of the Diffuser
HookaH-HookaH Co. is known for their innovative vase designs and accessories. We strive to give you the largest selection and the widest variety of hookahs, hookah accessories and shisha. We smoke hookah everyday and are constantly thinking of ways to make the pastime more enjoyable and with fewer complications… Obviously, I could go on and on about how great our products are, but actually, this blog is just about one accessory in particular.
THE DIFFUSER- which, actually, is just recently came back in stock. Now, if you follow this blog at all, this might seem a bit redundant, but the first hookah was constructed out of a coconut. It wasn’t until a Physician reviewed the process of smoking shisha that a vase with water was officially added to the true make-up of a hookah. The purpose of the water is to filter the smoke and then cleanse it (to a degree) before you inhale. Well, the Diffuser takes that one step further.
Typically when you smoke a hookah, a sort of bubbly gurgling sound emits when you pull on the hose, as the air cycles through the water. For some people, this is their favorite part. However, the diffuser is known throughout the community as being “the most efficient filtration system for your hookah” and we’d have to agree – wholeheartedly. The plastic body of the diffusers filter is attached to the bottom of your down-stem (the part that’s actually in the water) by using the flexible rubber grommet (included in your purchase) to ensure that the top of the diffuser is 100% air tight. It’s called a diffuser because it actually diffuses the suction at the tip of the down-stem. It essentially breaks down the air bubbles into many much smaller bubbles thus increasing the surface area of the smoke that is exposed to the water surface inside the vase. So smoking becomes quieter and it also provides a better filtration of soot and tar particles. This BIG IMPACT comes in such a small package (between 1 – 2 inches depending on what size you choose) but packed with enormous benefits!
